First of all, I want to thank you for the hundreds of letters, e-mails and phone calls of support we have received since going off the air in December.

Most of you have wanted to know if we have plans to go back on the air AND WE DO!!

I'm sure we all agree that there is a need for Christian Youth Radio in Winnipeg. We feel we are called to build a radio station that is not geared exclusively for Christians, but rather non-Christian youth who may never hear the gospel any other way.

On January 19th of this year we, the management and staff of the former FREQ 107, submitted an application for a new license to broadcast. We are currently in a deficiency period where the CRTC asks us for additional information for our application. Once that is completed, there will be a period of time when the CRTC will take positive interventions on our behalf. What this means is you can write or e-mail the CRTC and tell them how much you want us back on the air!

If all goes well during the intervention period, we could be included in the June hearing of the CRTC, and possibly back on the air as soon as September, 2001! The new station will be called 107.1 the FROG which stands for Fully Reliant On God! Please keep the station and the young people of Winnipeg in your prayers.
